Summer term has flown by, and the children have plenty to show for it. We asked a few of them to tell us about their favourite moments, and the answers were warm, funny, and very honest.
The pond dipping mornings were a clear winner. Year 3 spent two weeks recording what lived in the school pond, then drew careful diagrams that now line the science corridor. One pupil told us the best part was simply being allowed to get a bit muddy.
Our reading fair filled the hall with blankets, cushions, and far too many good books. Older children read aloud to younger ones, and several families stayed long after the bell to keep turning pages together.
As the term winds down, we want to thank every family who joined a walk, a workshop, or a sunny afternoon on the field. It has been a good one. See you in September, rested and ready.
